Company on the Homestead

I do love when my parents come to visit… it is never long enough!! We were able to spend the whole day today (monday) watching them marvel at all the changes in the last two years. All the names of our chickens, Mom still wants to name those babies. Then we showed them the town…. We went to a local Italian place that Joe and I have not even been to yet. They has some amazing sounding pizza flavors… Margarita, BBQ Chicken and several more traditional flavors. My dad was unable to clean his “plate” so I made sure my brothers and sister knew… Did you dad make you clean your plate when you were a kid?? OHHH mine sure did. The Facebook comments with the different dadizms were a plenty. We finished the day with a walk at Lake Maxinkuckee where this picture was taken. It is Dads birthday this Saturday and His week is full of several activities… Starting here in IN. Enjoy your 75th Dad! Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
