Chicks Plants Crafts and Kittens this week on the Homestead
Chicks Plants Crafts and Kittens
Starting here with Chicks. However, I have much more for you not just Chicks Plants Crafts and Kittens all from the homestead. Here are the Seven Chicks that are three weeks (about) at this point. They are sharing this tub with ducklings and this photo was taken while cleaning it out. The ducklings were in a box safe from themselves. Hahaha. It was a HUGE mess. And it will be clean for about 5 minutes. We will see.

Sooo, Joe had a plan, I executed it. He has been working this side property to see if we can plant over there. Back before we purchased it a local farm leased it. They had Pumpkins and Gourds planted on it the last time. Soo I did just that for us, family and friends. Wanting to see if on a small scale it was going to work. I planted 21 hills for pumpkins and squash. You know that I will give updates when I have them. I am excited to see if we get sprouts. Although, I did use some old seeds and new ones.
I have been working on weeds this week. The front walkway is a fun time to watch kittens play. I figure if I pull one of these a day that I can get this done and have some fun too.

Here is one for you… Did you know that different types of potatoes have different colored flowers?? I sure had no clue. However, here is both that I have… purple and white flowers. We are all curious to see, right? I forgot which types were where… I marked where the different types start but no names. We will see on that too. Do you know what it means to have a potato flower?? I will share next week. I left a note.

More on the garden front… We have tomatoes and strawberries too. Joe and I have enjoyed several Strawberries, soo yummy!
Here is the last of the plants… a flowering Cactus. This was on the neighbors property, but very pretty… however, sticky… Yes, there are spikes there.
Damien and I have been working on some Craft projects… I hope that we get more done this week. Fingers crossed. Can you see the theme??

I will leave you with this cuteness. The first was while I was pulling weeds. The second was just a very tired kitten. They will be ready for new homes in a few weeks!
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
