Sweet Friend with Sweetest Cherries card
Sweet Friend with Sweetest Cherries Here we are the beginning of another week. For today we have a Sweet Friend with Sweetest Cherries card idea. This card idea in Night of Navy and Balmy Blue. There is a bit of fussy cutting for the “friend”. I need to tell you guys something. I am loving the words in this stamp set. Starting of course with the “SWEET”. You can add anything. And let me add that there are many in the set to add. What do you think about that addition of the twine?? A very simple addition and really it could be any white ribbon. You can also see…

House of Love and Warmth, Ringed with Nature
House of Love and Warmth This somewhat simple card would be your Christmas card!! The House of Love and Warmth uses the Ringed with Nature stamp set, there is a bundle too. Haha, yes I still have more with this set!! The tree rings are first and second generation. What does that mean?? See how those rings have two different shades?? The darkest is first generation and without re-inking my stamp I stamp it a second time, second generation. Note the top right in the photo on the left, that is a third generation. Those tree rings are awesome as a background for out house. The Essential Tag was the…

One last Painted Season idea, okay maybe two.
One last Painted Season I found One last Painted Season idea. Okay, really there are two. Shhh, Dad do not tell mom. I made this with here in mind,. It is smaller, but thought maybe she would put it up by the sink. This small shadow box is 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches. It really does go off the sides and top though. Using Mossy Meadow and Basic White for the greenery of the Christmas Pinecones dies. Six of the pinecones and then the berries too. I really look forward to having this set to use for the Christmas in July for 2022. Well as an option anyway. Okay,…

Sweet Strawberry Plus Three additions to each set.
Sweet Strawberry Plus Three I love the Sweet Strawberry plus three idea. We started with the simple stamping idea. Created our own DSP using the two step stamping from the stamp set. I have to tell you that I really love using the Flirty Flamingo as the background color with the Real Red as the outline. How do feel about it?? The stem colors are Pear Pizzazz as the background and Granny Apple Green as the outline. That is where the Granny Apple Green cardbase was decided. Have you made your own DSP yet. It sure is easy. I used Basic White cardstock and grabbed the ink. The first was…

Saying Goodbye Part 2, Plaid and Heartfelt
Saying Goodbye Part 2 Here again Saying Goodbye part 2. Our first one has two ideas. This “thank you” card idea can be changed to any and yes ANY color combo. Plus with one run through the Stampin’ cut & Emboss you get two cards!! I love the texture that plaid creates. I need to share however that the stamp set is STAYING. It is just the die set Plaid Builder and Bundle price that is leaving. Also retiring on this card is the Braided Linen trim (already gone) and Small Bloom Punch. See, I used it a TON. I do mean a TON!! You will need the full size…

Happy Spring Easter Mom. I went to go and see Mom a few weeks ago, Happy Spring Easter Mom. I brought Mom the card we created in Coffee and Cards. 1/19 Coffee and Cards, Stamp ink and paper.
1/19 Coffee and Cards Oh we had fun on 1/19 Coffee and Cards. This Stamp, Ink and Paper card just turned out soooo pretty!! Very Vanilla was the 3 3/4 x 5 layer I started the card. Here is where you need to look into your ink stock. I looked for a light and a slightly darker color ink that would look good at leaves and flowers. Soft Sea Foam paired well with Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride with Rococo Rose. The fifth ink was Soft Suede for the sentiments. We did find out that you COULD stamp twice the same color and get a similar look. Like the extra…

October Girl’s Night, the first card.
October Girl’s Night On the first Friday of each month, you can come and make some birthday cards. October Girl’s Night was no exception. We crafted, talked and laughed too! This was the first of two cards that the girls made. We always have two designs and they made two of each design. I saw this layout somewhere and knew that I had to try it. To simple?? I think the technique that I added kept the ladies on their toes. The Country Home stamp set has the beautiful water jug. But where in the heck did I get that sentiment?? Well, I made it. You might want the Stamparatus…

Toile Tiding DSP for Winter Birthday
Here is the second Girl’s Night birthday card. Still have winter birthdays on my mind. One member of my team sends a TON of birthday cards each year. I hope to do the same. How do you organize your list?? When do you mail them?? Do you leave the envelope “naked”? See, these are pressing questions, right?? Do you make several at a time?? Are they all different?? Take a look, just changing the color, changes the look. However, the look changes with ribbon too. I know there are some that are made EXTRA special. In addition to all those questions…. would you like to make a “folder” that could…

I look forward to you suggestions! I have another idea but that wont get ink until tomorrow. Simple color combination for this Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake with a pop of Cherry Cobbler. Even the Rhinestones are Cherry Cobbler. You know you want those Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (150457) And you can tell that those are two different sizes. However, there are actually three different sizes in the package! Hopefully your suggestions help…

Come to Gather fun fold
One of my usual groups loves a simple card with a touch of fun. How did I do?? Using the Stamparatus (146276) and a Maple leaf. Remember the idea from last week using the Timeless label punch (149516)? I love how if fits more sentiments now! In addition to that punch idea, how about a SIMPLE fun fold. Take out your new Trimmer (152392) and your favorite 4 1/4 x 11 piece of cardstock. Long at the top and score at 3/4 of an inch and then again at 6 1/4. DONE! Just remember to only put adhesive on that folded over section. Here is a fun fact, use Tear…

Pressed Petal for Coffee and Cards
Sooo much fun playing with scraps on Coffee and Cards this morning! The Pressed Petal DSP has 24 sheets double sided (149500). All of the above pieces were scraps. Even the layering pieces. The only full pieces are the card bases. Do you ever look at a stack of scraps and wonder what to do?? Check out the live for ideas…. Did you get a few ideas?? I sure hope so! I love fall….and I do love to decorating for it also. This card was bringing in all my favorite fall colors. However I did use this set with Cajun Craze and Mango Melody… Loved that one too! Instead of stamping the middle…. I wanted to try the Champagne Shimmer Paint(147044). This poor picture just did not do it justice, and I am sorry! Let’s just say you NEED to try it!! WOW. I sure hope you enjoyed this card and Thank you for checking…

Apple Smiles with Harvest Hellos
I was using up the last of the apples from my tree this afternoon and remembered that I forgot to share this SUPER simple but SUPER cute card. “You make me Smile!” sentiment is included in the Harvest Hellos Bundle (153037). Along with “Hey there, Pumpkin”, which would obviously need a Pumpkin instead, haha The Call Me Clover looks great with the Cherry Cobbler apple. No sponging or magic tricks with this one.. Right outta the punch. However, I cut the sentiment apart. Put I bet you figured that already. Can you picture the picnic?? The table cloth and all?? Right?!? Hugs, Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!

9/14 Coffee and Cards
Coffee and Cards this week we are still working with the Perennial Essence Suite (152166). Today though we are working with just the leaves. There are two different types of leaves. Lets take a closer look…. I started with was the middle card this week. Punches, and a pretty edge. Do you see the Stitched Shapes die (145372)? Adding that to the second and third card holding the sentiment. First up, stamp, ink and paper. I sponged the separate sentiment piece so that it would POP! Keeping with the power of 3, like last week, leaves, ribbon and embellishments were added. The Braided Linen Trim (147808) is shown “pulled” apart,…

Floral Essence Fun Fold
I love this card! It is funny when you see a stamp set, love it and then…. YIKES, How do I use it?? Have you ever done that?? For a while… that was what happened with this stamp set. The Floral Essence Suite (pg 107 152166) has DSP and Vellum, Ribbon and flower centers… along with a punch and stamp set. Sounds perfect, right?? Yup, but just was not clicking … until this card!! This easy fun fold card, could be used with several different kinds of stamps, not just flowers!! (I am sure you will see it again!) I tried to get the name of the fold, and searched…

Simple Magnolia Lane
How about we take a peak at the Magnolia Lane Suite (152178)? Starting with a Simple card and then take it to the next level… Using the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp set (149298), and the Magnolia Lane DSP (149484). Adding a small bit of Petal Pink cardstock on a Whisper White card base… hummm, what could we add?? I like to add in threes… working off this same card what would you add?? Same basic card… adding the Organdy Striped Ribbon (149441) in Petal Pink. Three Basic Pearls (144219) and the dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends coloring them to match. Last thing to add is the magnolia bud stamped with…
