For these two cards again one for the in person as a sample the second for the online class. The changes we made this time were not the outside. They were for the inside, see below. Good Things with the Shimmer Paint.

Good Things with Shimmer… No intervention needed, I promise… I used the Shimmer Paint right out the of the bottle. Using two different suites to create this card. The DSP comes from the World of Good. However, the embossing folder, die cut and sentiment comes from the In Good Taste. Are you looking for a way to get that vintage feel?? Dontcha, love how that embossing folder texture is colored?? Grab your sponge for this one… using the Early Espresso ink just LIGHTLY sweep on that ink to highlight that texture. Using that same sponge darken the edges of the rips and rolls, also to the edges of your “quill”.…

Catch of the Day for Girl’s Night Birthday

Let’s talk Girls Night! Making a Masculine Birthday and the Perennial Birthday “booklet”, which we will talk about tomorrow.. So much fun creating your own DSP (designer series paper). Here was the hardest part, what colors to pick? Hummmm. Finally settled on Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake. Each attendee was given a 4 by 11 sheet of Whisper White. Now, how to get started….. my suggestion is to start with the biggest image first! These are all pretty much the same, BUT I choose the “fish basket”, using Crumb Cake ink. Be sure to leave room you can ALWAYS add. The coastal Cabana and hat were next. Lastly,…

    Paper Pumpkin-Fathers Day

It is getting close to Fathers’s Day, do you need the perfect card?? How about using parts of your Paper Pumpkin? Today, only the stamps are from the May kit. At first, I was thinking a floating card, but due to unhappy stamping this was changed into just a quick card. Tomorrow is a new day for the floating card. Let’s turn lemons into lemonade.
