    Many Thanks – Perennial Essence

Let’s talk a little more about this DSP. The 12 x 12 pack could go both masculine or feminine, also flowery or not. I sure hope that I have showed you how beautiful and versatile the Perennial Essence Suite (pg 107 AC – 152166) can actually be! As you know, I love to carry small 3 x 3 cards in my purse. Need to restock so here are the perfect ones to use! Adding to the Suite of products, the Itty Bitty Greetings (146667). It has about EVERY holiday/event you would need a sentiment. The leaf punch (144667) is also an add. Taking a closer look at each card. Going…

    Sending Prayers ..Perennial Essence

Today is all about the paper! This DSP (149100) is more like a Monet painting, water lilies and flower gardens. Wanting to keep this sympathy card simple and showcase the amazing paper! Ohhh and let us not forget that RIBBON (149441)! In addition to all that AMAZING paper the “Sending Prayers” sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings (146667). Did you miss the scalloped edge on our layer?? That is one from the Stitched Be Mine dies (148527). I was super excited to find the die MUCH longer then I needed for a card front. Well, I know my friend will like the love that is wrapped inside this card.…

    Gift Tag-Come to Gather

Remember the Butterfly tags?? This is the same size 3 x 4 1/4. Using the Stamps, Dies and of course that DSP. The Burlap Ribbon was cut apart and use as the vines stems. I wanted to coordinate and also highlight the different colors used in this pumpkin pattern. I know, I know, Mint Macaron Pumpkins are very unusual. So are Soft Sea Foam ones, but why not?? I do want to draw your attention to the sentiment. This is one stamp, one verse that is easy to cut up into these three pieces. Also, notice that the double pumpkin set as been split up. I bet, you can not…

    Note Cards and Thank You

I needed a quick thank you… Thank goodness for the Note Card & Envelopes (144236). I had some of the Pressed Petal DSP (149500), then add some Whisper White Metallic Edge ribbon (144213). Ohhh wait, that little bit of vellum (101856) which was punched out with the Pretty Label Punch (143715). Done, and can I just tell you this card took longer to cut then assemble. Tooo cute and so darn pretty!! Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!

Journal – Old Paper Pumpkin – part 1

I wanted to work on the new Journal (pg 73) that is part of the Pressed Petal Suite (152193) wouldn’t you know… so busy making sure I did not forget anything on my orders for customers, that I forgot to order the Journal (149588). So making the best of it… I decided that maybe this OLD Paper Pumpkin could work. I have been wanting to put something together with parts of this kit anyway… Knowing that the plan was to use the Pressed Petal DSP (149500), a few colors needed to be changed. Using Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry. The patterns did not go either, but…

    Sail Away with Well Said

I am sure this has never happened to anyone else, but me… haha. Did you plan to use something, but then things change. This card has a new life as a masculine birthday card. What do you think?? Curious, where all the parts come from?? The two DSP (Designer Series Papers) are from the Come Sail Away DSP (149481), meaning the lighthouse pattern and the stripe. Both of the sentiments are from the Well Said stamp set (148796). However, did you know that that stamp set has 51 different stamps?? ALL the sentiments you would need in one year! Holy Cow! Pressed Petal Coffee and Cards 6/22

We missed you at Coffee and Cards 6/22, want to catch the replay? Here is your link… My mom was a helper this morning. It was fun! Working with the Pressed Petal DSP (149500) and how easy these cards came together! Here are some particulars… All three cards use the same paper pack, this one also has a sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful Stamp set (148732). Wondering where that ribbon came from?? That is the Whisper White Flax Ribbon, dyed with Mossy Meadow (133651) ink refill. Using the same Mossy Meadow Flax ribbon, this 3 x 3 is super quick, a 2 3/4 by 2 3/4 DSP piece, a…

    Love it, Chop it

What DSP would you pick?? Do you have a favorite?? We have a saying if you love it, then CHOP IT. I have paper from years ago that I did not want to cut up. Guess what, you do not get to share it and share your craft or even your skill if you do not. Be Brave!! At stamp camp the girls were asked to pick two sheets from their favorite paper pack and then, YUP!! Cut it up and use it. Here is how the cuts worked. Here is what we were able to come up with.. Making only 5 cards you will have plenty of left overs…

    Ohh one last swap

Dang, here is the other organized swap that happened at OnStage last week. How I forgot I have not clue… This swap focused on DSP (designer series paper). The DSP used here is a favorite for me!! Share What you Love (146926) which will no longer be available come June. All DSP retires at the end of each annual catalog. The same patterns, for each card…. with just a different sentiment. The sentiment and die cuts come from the Well Said bundle (150609). As you know, with a bundle you can save 10% AND this bundle price goes away in June too. With this being Easter weekend, I want to…
