Last two Christmas in July cards, with a fun fold.

Last two Christmas in July Here are the Last two Christmas in July cards from our Stamp-a-Stack. Looking for the first two?? Check this post here. Our first one is the fun fold of the Stack. A super easy fun fold at that. We also did this one for the Fun Fold class last month, here. With this idea it really makes the Snowman the focal point. Even with that simple DSP background. Wondering about that super cute snowman?? He is from the Snowman Season stamp set. Which in case you are looking it also has a Snowman Builder punch. It punches the snowman from the envelope. Anyway, just a…

Pansies Little Extra Happiness with Pansy Petals DSP

Pansies Little Extra Happiness I love Pansies, Little Extra Happiness and so much more about this card. Let’s start with the Pansy Petals DSP (patterned paper – there is a suite too). Both of these patterns come from that pack. The Bumblebee pattern is a soft or subtle pattern. With the flower and leaf pattern being a bit bigger. AGAIN mixing my DSP’s to show off how easy and pretty they can be together. However, this layout works with any coordinating DSP’s. I used this layout for the Make ‘n Take card at the BOGO sale last month. This was the sample idea. The other two used the Beauty of…

You are Amazing Paper Pumpkin alternatives.

You are Amazing Paper Pumpkin You are Amazing with Paper Pumpkin from June. I somehow missed these alternatives. However, knew that you would not mind if I shared them anyway. Here is what I was thinking. Using vellum I would pick an embossing folder and do a different background. So really this could be ANY background. Yes, I sure did go with all those beautiful 2021-2023 In-Colors. Here is my first question… Do you like with the Basic White layer or without?? I am going to be honest here, I like them both. The Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent only have the cardbase, vellum, sentiment and leaf piece. Which by…

Pierced Blooms and Sweet Strawberry Scalloped Box.

Pierced Blooms and Sweet Strawberry I love making hand crafted gifts, especially like this Pierced Blooms and Sweet Strawberry box. If you have not gotten the Pierced Blooms dies, ohhh man!! Seriously these are amazing… The pierced look to them adds amazing texture. I love to layer them together. And no there are NO rules on which to layer together!! That is a thought… We should cut out a bunch and see all the different combos we could make. Anyway, in addition to the Pierced Blooms, I also added the Sweet Strawberry stamp set. Yes, the Just for you is kinda hiding, but it is stamped in Evening Evergreen. Ohh,…

Flowers of Friendship In-Color with a punch.

Flowers of Friendship In-Color Using the Flowers of Friendship for these In-Color thank you cards. With the Inky Whisper Sisters our team swap I think last month was 2021-2023 In-Colors. Wanting to use all of them. Because we all have our favorites!! I was super excited when Korine (our team swap coordinator) brought over this bundle. The Flowers of Friendship is a stamp and punch bundle. You know that you save 10% when you get the bundle!! Ohhh the possibilities!! I don’t know about you, but for me I struggle to have a favorite out of these five. Right?? They are all so pretty and sooo easy to use with…

Kind People Simply Succulents, at Culver class.

Kind People Simply Succulents I know that you are Kind People, Simply Succulents has the best sentiment!! The Simply Succulents stamp set has a die cut set also, Potted Succulents. That die set is where the diecut shape for the Kind People sentiment comes from. So many other wonderful dies in that set. Including and not limited to a full card front succulent “laser” looking image. SOOO COOL!! However this DSP (patterned paper) is from the new Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP pack. Yes, there was some strategic trimming included for this, so worth it. This was also a card that was created using the newest In-Colors. Both the Soft…

Pretty Perennials and In Good Taste, thoughts??

Pretty Perennials and In Good Taste Happy mail using the Pretty Perennials and In Good Taste DSP!! Yes, there is a bonus of Fresh Freesia too! I need to make a few more of these. I have to admit I have a ton of scrap pieces from this DSP (Designer Series Paper) pack. No they do not have to look all the same, right?? Keep in mind when you are mass producing cards that those scraps can add just enough of a change to make things EXCITING!! The “happy” stamp comes from the Pretty Perennial bundle which is retiring the end of this month. However, I am super excited to…

Soft Succulent and Pierced Blooms for a birthday.

Soft Succulent and Pierced Blooms Last color to review is Soft Succulent and Pierced Blooms for a birthday card. Well you know that I also would add butterflies to flowers, right?? This one really is a lot of my favorites. Can you pick them out?? I will list them at the end. The little bit of gingham DSP is from the Pansy Patch Suite. That suite really does feature all of the in colors very nicely. I also want to be sure to mention that the Pierced Blooms is only a bundle until the end of this month. It will still be available next month however the bundle savings will…

Evening Evergreen with Simply Succulents Here is our look at Evening Evergreen with Simply Succulents. Add in the Basic Borders dies for this birthday card. Keep in mind that the Simply Succulents is a bundle only through the end of the month. Oh, did I mention this is a Girl’s Night card too?? I bet you know someone that is extraordinary that has a birthday coming up!! Keeping the front simple with the large stamp and added layer for the sentiment. I do feel that this card could go without the linen thread. But yes, I love my “ribbons”. What would you do?? Also a hint of color for the…

Pale Papaya Two Ways and a video too.

Pale Papaya Two Ways Today has Pale Papaya Two Ways adding in a little Just Jade. Do not forget at the bottom is the YouTube video how I made the bottom left. That one has more layers to it. Because there is no wasting those “clouds” from the top version. We created the top in an episode of Coffee and Cards. Dare I say (again) that I am not sure which I like better. Each has layers and each has the same basic idea. I do like the lighter color or the top one. For this card I used the Blending Brushes and a piece of Basic White. The “masked”…

Polished Pink from Girls Night I am looking back at this Polished Pink from Girls Night. I can not wait to see what we get for Girl’s Night in June. Dang everyone, that is only a few days away. Are you joining me online or in the studio?? Let me clarify that this card was from the May Girl’s Night. We have already done it in person AND online. Girly Girl overload?? First up Fresh Freesia, 2021-2023 In-color

First up Fresh Freesia Okay, First up Fresh Freesia. And I do think this one is a favorite. However, I really do love them all. I promise really, This one kinda surprised me though. Why?? Because this one lends more to the pink then purple, I think. What do you think?? So pairing this color up with the Blackberry Bliss just brought me much MUCH joy. I love the Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon. I am sure, haha, you are shocked that this has a butterfly. But another love for me is Gingham. This Black and White gingham is from the host set in the 2021 Annual catalog did you miss…

Five of the 2021 In-Colors together, all together.

Five of the 2021 In-Colors Together So this card originally started out for my team, Five the 2021 In-Colors together. Just in case they had not purchased the colors. Just something to help my team out. Yes, it is super simple, but dontcha love how easy they all go together?? The Evening Evergreen background is perfect to let the other four colors just pop off the card front. Keeping the cardbase super neutral of course, in Crumb Cake. Inky Whisper Sisters Supporting my team is huge. I do truly want to give them tools and looks that they can use, duplicate and offer to a variety of cardmakers. Here is…

Butterflies Flowers and a BIG Smile using the pansies.

Butterflies Flowers and a BIG Smile. Can it get much better then Butterflies Flowers and a BIG Smile?? I do not think so. Say hello to Judy. She is my neighbor and my dear friend. How much fun that we have birthdays only a few days apart!! She has tough be lots about “farm” life. But mostly about Chickens, Gardening and Canning. She and her hubby have “adopted” Joe and I as extended kids. We always give each other flowers for our birthdays. This was fun for me too. Remember in past kits I have cut up the envelopes. This time the envelopes are plain and there is an extra piece that you can add to pretty up the envelopes. And those liners are just tooo cute. The flower pattern that is the background here. Additionally, the book looking circle is also a liner. The only item that was really added was some Seaside Spray cardstock. Stamping in Embossing Paste using Dragonfly Garden

Stamping in Embossing Paste I love trying different things like Stamping in Embossing Paste. Sometimes you just have to be brave and try stuff. This however is not new. I have a YouTube video on this back in 2018. For that video I used a now retired woodgrain stamp, check it out here. For these cards that tall image was calling to be colored. That was not all, it needed some texture. You will not only need your Dragonfly Garden stamp set (bundle saves 10%), Dandy Garden ribbon and Dandy Garden DSP, but embossing paste too. You could also get the whole Dandy Garden Suite. However, I love the coloring…

Good Things with Shimmer… No intervention needed, I promise… I used the Shimmer Paint right out the of the bottle. Using two different suites to create this card. The DSP comes from the World of Good. However, the embossing folder, die cut and sentiment comes from the In Good Taste. Are you looking for a way to get that vintage feel?? Happy 4th of July to you and your family.

Happy Birthday America! Sounds kinda funny saying Happy Birthday to a Country, but… That really is what today is all about. How as a new country “we” decided “we” wanted freedom from Tierney and Oppression. Those freedoms were as the result of many brave men and women. Freedoms that at times get taken for granted. As a Marine mom, I have a small understanding of the drive that it takes to be brave and go off to fight for those freedoms. The worry of a family when loved ones go on faith and belief that our country stands for Freedom. These freedoms that are still alive today, gratefully!! Hugs and…

Cutting out the petal outline two times and layering them … AMAZING!! I bet you remember the cards we did for Coffee and Cards on Saturday. Well the Jar punch is part of this same suite. Flowers for Every Season (154132), is what I like to call a “super” suite, because it has two stamp set bundles, ribbon, DSP, embellishments, Shaker Domes, Memory and More card pack and cards. I love to add a little something something to a “gift”. Using pieces from the bits and pieces bucket to make a quick tag. This one was still wet when I took the picture. Sorry! I am excited to report that there are only a couple Crumb Cake circles left. I bet you recognize these pieces. Most of these items were left overs from a live… last week I think. I am super excited to report that all the Paper Pumpkins have arrived. I however am still going to do a regular Crafty Thursday. Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
