    Fancy Fold

The Farmhouse paper is so pretty with this card. The quarter fold is a fun way to use up some of the larger scraps that you have… they just have to coordinate. when you use the striped burlap as a “handle” the card kinda explodes open. Do you still need Christmas cards?? Contact me for craft room time. I can help!! Have a Great day getting Crafty!!

    Ready….Set…..Christmas

Let us carry the Buffalo Check (147794) into the start of Christmas. That paired with the Peaceful Noel (147694) stamp set is a good way to start. Choosing the Old Olive Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake are a classic start. The bakers twine is Garden Green, but it sill worked, at least for me. I know, I know, fussy cutting Jen, REALLY?? Well, the branches looked great but flat. Using a dimensional helped with that. The branches are also a two step stamp. That makes the two tone look possible. The easier way to achieve this was to stamp the Green (Tranquil Tide here) of your choice and then the…

    3D organized swap

This one was so fun…. I love doing boxes of all kinds!! The challenge is figuring out how to use the size paper that is available and get the measurements right the first time. This post it holder using the Share What you Love DSP (146926) and Love What you Do (148042) stamp set. The challenge was in making it tall enough for all the elements AND accessible. Using the Layering Ovals Framelits (141706) was the way to do it. Pick your favorite color combo….Rich Razzleberry and Olive Olive or Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron. Each one included a post it pad, small pen and pointer stickers. Just what anyone…

    Onstage General Swaps

Swaps, not sure what those are?? Well, you create a card make several all pretty much the same and “trade” with someone for one that they have made. Planning three different swaps took a little time… One this general swap and the other two, which can best be explained as organized swaps. Look for them later this week. Fun cards was my focus, and I knew I wanted to use the Dandelion Wishes (w-146744 c-146747) stamp set. Pleasantly surprised when other demonstrators used it also AND in different ways then I did. So exciting, right?? Using five different colors just to make the choice slightly tougher. Hahaha which is your…

    Yes, I am crazy..

Going from 80° down to 20° in three hours, crazy??? Probably, but I am happy to be home! I had so much fun in Orlando First with over 6000 of my stamping family. Then with my Aunt and my wonderful welcoming cousins. A trip to the ocean, Atlantic. Chilled and soaked up a few rays. Some great food and of course coffee, must have coffee!! The trip home was quick and the kitties all missed me. I missed them and my wonderful hubby! Now to start planning more camps and trying to figure out what you guys are going to like best out of the new catalog!

    It started with…..

an antique popcorn popper…. the Pretty Pines (142049) Stamp set and matching dies (141851). This “holidayish” striped burlap (147889) just helped bring this idea to light….. The large sentiment needed a rough look and a few “snowflakes” At the craft fair I had a few people offer to buy this… I do not think I can give this one up. I was going to give it to my mom, but not sure if that is going to happen now either. YIKES!! Bad I know… Tell me what your style is?? Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!

    Swirls and Tin?

Last of the Embossing Folder Stamp Camp Cards. Yes, using both folders. This one almost stumped me. Where did the idea come from, it was a christmas tree that I saw somewhere. It fell into place after that, no it did not need to be holiday themed. You can never have enough Christmas cards though. The Tree is part of the Winter Woods bundle (W-149991 C-149992). Stamped first then die cut and finally embossed. Adding a bit of embossing paste to make it look like it snowed a little too. The Tin Tile background was just to add texture to the card. Want to learn more about these embossing folders…

    Country life

Here is the scary part of country life…. an unknown critter tried digging into the chicken coop/pen sometime Saturday overnight.  That carrier is where the baby chicks were asleep and unknowing… the poor things.  Happy that someone, haha, did research about constructing a safe chicken coop/pen.  The welded wire is buried down at least 2-3 feet. No way what ever this was  would get in here.  phew, right!! A few other precautions have been put in place. Thankful my hubby had a quick idea for that. Thanks for stopping by today….. More Babies

After a little shopping spree at a swap meet … these four cuties joined the Homestead. White one is a Silkie, Upper left is a Cochin, middle is a Cochin and the right one (red/orange) is a Fleur. They are outside separated from the Big girls until they get just a little bigger…. a few weeks. I will be taking suggestions for names of these fancy ladies (at least it is believed they are hens), but want to find a fun way too… maybe a contest or something like that…. The Mom and three babies will be ready to head outside to take over this space, in a few weeks.…
