Catch of the Day for Girl’s Night Birthday

Let’s talk Girls Night!
Making a Masculine Birthday and the Perennial Birthday “booklet”, which we will talk about tomorrow..
So much fun creating your own DSP (designer series paper). Here was the hardest part, what colors to pick? Hummmm. Finally settled on Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake. Each attendee was given a 4 by 11 sheet of Whisper White. Now, how to get started….. my suggestion is to start with the biggest image first! These are all pretty much the same, BUT I choose the “fish basket”, using Crumb Cake ink. Be sure to leave room you can ALWAYS add. The coastal Cabana and hat were next. Lastly, the fishing lure and Daffodil Delight.

Here is a question for you… How many cards can we get out of that 4 x 11? The above is cut 3 x 4 and matted 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 with Coastal Cabana. Just cutting the remainder of the paper we stamped you could get two more 3 x 4 pieces and have a 2 x 4 piece to add to the inside or another front.
Lots of mileage from that one piece!
And even more fun, you can stamp in any color you have OR that you want to stamp in.
Join me on my FB page. I would love to see what you come up with for your DSP. Please be sure to post in the comments of this card photo!
Hummm, maybe for a PRIZE??
I look forward to seeing what you come up with! What you will win will be listed as the first comment. Good Luck!
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!

I’m one that makes her own DSP all the time. Most always use a full sheet of card stock.
Must try just the half sheet and see if it is easier to get the best coverage the first time.
After cutting I usually need to do a little more stamping.
This is a nice non female card.
