Butterfly Beauty Anniversary Card for Joe.
Butterfly Beauty Anniversary card
It has been a week since this Butterfly Beauty Anniversary card was given to Joe. I am happy because it is still sitting on his dresser. Silly I am sure, but still. It is kinda funny because some years the card idea come quick. This year, I kinda struggled. Well, I guess after 11 years it is bound to happen a time or two.
Here is where I started… Always butterflies.
It is a “thing” for us. Typically there is green and purple. His favorite color and mine. This year it is Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather. I wanted to share last years card but sadly I could not find it, or the one from the year before. No clue where to find it either. I think it falls into the… I forget to take pictures before I write in it category. Yeah, I know…

Yup, even with me talking about it in my live. I did it again. You can see on the bottom of the photo here… I started to write and remembered.
Please tell me I am not the only one!!

Just a bit of coloring. Using the same Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green light and dark Stampin’ Blends. I measured the size I would need to use the one die cut and did the coloring first. You are right, so it would dry!
Here is what the vellum looked like after I cut the butterflies out. Different from the Brilliant Wings dies this one stays altogether. Well unless you cut it up like I have been known to do. Like this time.. here
I am however sad to report that the dies, embossing folder and stamp set used for this card are ALL retiring.
- Butterfly Beauty dies (stamp set that coordinates Beauty Abounds)
- Pinewood Plank embossing folder
- Well Said stamp set (coordinating dies Well Written)
Wanting to be sure that you are aware of all the retiring things. I will do my best to share the items that I have. Even share again a few previously made cards. Who does not like more idea!!
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
