Birdhouse Fun Fold Window

I am always looking for new ways to create something. For example, a regular card into a fun fold or even the reverse. Today’s card I decided to use a Window Sheet at my ‘flap’. So this Birdhouse Fun Fold Window Sheet, the fence is on the window sheet and is its own layer. I image this kind like a garden gate , you open it and there is your Birdhouse. What do you think??

See what I mean?? Keeping in mind that I did not want to forget to add posts to the inside of the ‘gate’. The leaves you can see through the slats in the fence. Although I left the birdhouse layer somewhat plain. With all the colors and DSP (patterned paper) woodgrain on the house itself. I like that simple layer. However, do not forget about the inside….

Stamping the bird and sentiment for your inside. We thought about adding a little more to the inside. However, I like room to write. I still could add leaves and even flowers to the inside of this card. Humm, What do you think??
