Beautiful Day for a Challenge

Back playing with the Stampin’ Blends for this AMAZING flower. The Beautiful Day stamp set (145915) has been fun to color this last week. Lastly with this set… The Global Design Project challenge #GDP204 which is a CASE, and Kerstin’s card is just beautiful.

I liked the DSP, but had to create my own to match the flower I chose. Also used the Rectangle Stitched dies (148551) but with the Perennial Essence Vellum (149101) in So Saffron.
Stamping two of the flower images, and a couple extra leaves. One was colored Cherry Cobbler (c-144598) with a little Crumb Cake (c-144601). The second is Daffodil Delight (c-144603) with a little Pumpkin Pie (c144599). The leaves are a combo of Granny Apple Green (c-147274), Mossy Meadow (c-148547) and even more Daffodil Delight. Just remember…
Layers…lots of layers!
Next step is fussy cutting, the three extra leaves and both flowers. Note… the curled edges of the top flower… there are cuts so that the curl can happen. Just using the Paper Snips (103579). Dimensionals were used between the flower layers.
I am so excited about the Stampin’ Blends Club and looking forward to creating more projects with this set and many others.
Thank you to Global Design Project and Kerstin Kreis for another fun and beautiful challenge!
