Bag, box and Rosy
Here is our last Everything is Rosy (150059) post…. Have you ever forgotten to get a gift bag?? or you have one and it is JUST to big?
Well, how about making your own?? Take two 6×6 pieces of DSP or even cardstock and score on three sides at 1 inch. HINT: be sure to match up the patterns. Using multi glue to adhere. Punch holes in your top, use your matching ribbon.
NO PEAKING, PLEASE
Need a small box for a fun little treasure…. again with two 6×6 pieces of DSP or cardstock, score at 2 inches all the way around…. You can even mix and match, like above. Even do cardstock and DSP.
What treasure would you put inside?
A friend posted about a quilt that she was wanting to make this past weekend, which inspired this card. Thinking of my Great Grandma’s quilt, it inspired the frayed edges and pulled ribbon. Using scraps for quilt and then scraps for this “quilt”. Added to the loved and tattered look the ribbon is even frayed. You are able to get this look by cutting just the Rose Gold strips of a piece of ribbon. The fraying occurred while tying it.
Congratulations… and thank you for checking in today.
Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
