Apples Pumpkins and Summer Cleanup of Decorations
Apples Pumpkins and Summer Cleanup
Baking, yes please. However, not today, too hot. This last week on the Homesteadwas soo busy with the Ghouls, Gobbles and Garlad event. Not much happened afte these yummy bars. Starting you off this week with Apples Pumpkins and Summer Cleanup of Decorations. These are from our trees and needed to be used up. I did not get very many this year. However, I did VEERY much enjoy these. I found this recipe online and will be making these again. YUMMM, take a closer look..

The photo on the left is prior to baking. It has three different layers. Oat mixture on the bottom, pressed firmly. Then the apple mixture above and a crumble on top. This would be even better with some vanilla ice cream. Humm, hey team should we?? I want to try the glaze that it was supposed to have, Salted Caramel. I did not have heavy cream to make it correctly. Want the recipe, reach out and I will send it to you.

After my Bremen Library Class I was driving home and saw a sign for pumpkins. Ohhh was I glad I stopped. This cute little ‘farmstand’ had a ton of varieties. Yes, I know not all of these are pumpkins but gourds. Still soo much fun. Very reasonably priced and you know I got SEVERAL!! Looking forward to decorating outside using all of these, soon. Yes, I will share.
However, I needed to cleanup all the Summer Decorations first. Yup, you bet I sure did. All have been taken down to thier boxes in the basement. I have been trying to get a plan for all the Fall decorations. That has not come to me, YET!! As always you know I will share, soon!!
Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
