Watering Projects and of course Critters

Another no rain week guys. Soo I am trying to get all the Watering Projects and of course Critters all taken care o each day. While watering the other day I saw orange in the tomatoes…. Ohhh yeah!! Soo to be eating from tomatoes from the garden. Is there anything better?? Humm, maybe cucumbers. Those are just getting flowers…. So we have time on those yet.

Joe has been talking about this project for a year. I am super excited to see this tractor up here by the shed. Joe has been working on it off and on for a little over a week. He has figured out several things…. Now to get the PTO on so he can use the big mower on the other property. I do miss hearing this thing around the homestead. Happy that it is in the works.

Here is a project that I have been working on. Yup, I jumped on the sourdough bandwagon. Here is my VERY first loaf. It turned out pretty dang good. Of course, if I say so myself. I am working on a couple other recipes. Let’s see how long it lasts. I will share more next week.

Now that is not the only project. I am super excited to share this one with you…. Ohhh I was soo sad last week.

The base of the glass top table has a new life. I was trying to figure out a way to not spend a ton of money however get my seating area back. I tried to see if any of the picnic table tops were any good. Joe said No. That is when I did some pricing. Decking boards were the size I needed and the price I could manage. Eight boards and a new box 1 1/2 inch decking screws later. I came home. While trying to work out the supports and all that, Joe offered to help. Which was Super nice, I was struggling to not have to add a bunch of other stuff. Anyway, we actually worked together and put together in a Sunday afternoon.

I call that a HUGE win!!

You bet I sat out there Sunday night and enjoyed the heck out of it. Joe did too. We had dinner out there. Enjoyed the birds chattering and the duck shenanigans.

Speaking of ducks. Yup, these are our ducks. Out front by the fruit trees. I have not clue what is going on … but Paula suggested that they were going over to grandma Judys for different snacks. I would agree. To add some context, these guys RARELY cross the driveway. As you can see they way crossed the driveway. Of course they came home and went swimming.

Wayne wanted to help me get the Mystery Boxes together… But apparently it was taking tooooooooo long. He was exhausted and fell asleep in one of my big bags. Thanks buddy for keeping me company!!
