Happy he is home!

I ended up taking White Sox to the emergency vet on Saturday night. Please someone explain why this happens on the weekends instead of during the week?? Anyway, due to a couple things on his blood work they decided to keep him for at least 12 hours. I just hate going home with no pet. The pets in the house freak out and get all depressed. And it has been about a year since the last time I came home empty handed. ugghh. Thankfully they checked his blood work again about noon on Sunday and it came back more normal.

After doing a small cheer, I went out to pick him up. This was the quietest ride with him EVER… he usually cries the whole drive. LOUDLY!! Medication on board and given to take home. A followup with out vet is in the works. They are some pretty heavy drugs let me tell you. He is a drunken sailor and still tries to jump on stuff. I need to watch him like a hawk. Please send positive thoughts that he does not get hurt jumping or trying to jump on something.

On a happier note…

These little cuties are really starting to get some feathers. You can also tell what a size difference there is going to be. They are still super quiet. Notice that there is no more red in the photo, my new warmer arrived and they are adjusting to the day and night times much better! They sure did not like the storm we got the other night. But it was good that they were able to experience it inside first. I can not imagine how scary it is outside.. YIKES!!

On to new adventures this next week, I am sure. I will keep you update if any negative turns arise.

Hugs and Have a Great Day getting Crafty!!
