6 Quick and Simple card ideas

For today we are looking at 6 Quick and Simple card ideas using the New Horizon DSP. This was an add on to the February Ding Dong Ditch. However these can be used in so many ways. Ohhh my, these could birthday cards, thinking of you cards, or just about anything. Keeping this super simple and if you cut it right your could get two out of every color. Keep in mind doing that will not quite be the same as above but still works out beautifully!!

Spring Trees??

I am loving the above as spring trees too. No matter if Fresh Freesia, Magenta Madness or Blackberry Bliss. I would love to have trees flowering like that right now!! I know I am not alone either!! Check out how you can use almost any ribbon, twine or linen thread that you have also. Adding one simple embellishment or even none.

Now for a slightly different look you can add the houses instead of the trees. Which would you prefer?? Did I tell you that these are not all of the different colors either?? No, well know that this is just six of them… So many quick cards that you could make. Here is a small breakdown of what I did. The cardbase color matches the house or tree color. That color coordinates with the color in the DSP. Adding in a little Crumb Cake for a simple neutral. You could use Basic White also if you wanted.

I made all of mine thank you cards, I have a bunch to mail out next week!! Boy to I have a bunch of catch up work to do after all this Butterfly Birthday Bash stuff. But I am soo excited. I would love for you to join us … You still have one day left to sign up!!
