6 Chicks new Birds and a Truck

So the eggs have finally hatched. And there is some fun stuff to share with you this week! Starting with 6 Chicks new Birds and a Truck all from this week. Now let’s talk about these little cuties. These are two of the six chicks. There are two yellow, two black and two brown chicks. Only one egg that did not hatch. These guys seem a little bit fuzzier. We will see what time shows us. I am truly hoping to get a silkie out of this bunch.

As you can see we handle and love on them as much as possible. I was very happy today. I was able to combine the newest babies with the older ones. No nasty stuff, and they are sharing dishes and everything. As you can kinda see the older ones are almost fully feathered. Which means that they are almost ready to go out to the big coop. Reminder they are not put out with the big girls right away, no worries. I was kinda hoping to hold them inside a bit more so that the littles and the older ones could go out closer together. That we they will protect each other. Fingers crossed.

So, last week I got a call from a friends of mine, Sandy, she always tells me when she has Hummingbirds and Orioles. That way I can put out my feeders. It has been too long since I spoke with her last. I was happy that she remembered to call. So that afternoon I put out the Oriole feeder. I found what I hoped would be a perfect one.

Apparently this one is bringing me luck.

Not only do I have one, I think I have three Baltimore Orioles. Ohhhh but wait, there was another. It looked kinda red and it also goes to this feeder. So after a search online I found an Orchard Oriole. I do believe that is what I saw. The Baltimore Orioles have been back and forth, two males and a female. There was a little fight between the males too. You know I will keep you put to date.

No, I did not get a new truck. However, Surf Internet is new on the street. They are working on the street I am happy to report. More to come on this also. To say that I am excited is an understatement!! Getting closer!!
