2 Cards Then and Now ideas

Where you able to join me live for the 2 Cards Then and Now ideas from the Coffee and Cards live (Aug 3, video). The ‘Then and Now idea started the beginning of the year. I was reminded of some old cards that I created back in 2009 and 2010. I wanted to see if we could recreate them using current items. However, was I brave enough. A few were just awful, to my current standards that is. We have been tackling this on the first Saturday of each month. Here was what once was and what we created this time.

In this photo you see the 2010 cards on my iPad and the recreated ones. Now, the lack of layers was my first thought. We love layers! Why because that is one way of adding texture, a different color and also pattern (DSP). I chose texture, using embossing folders. Also, color with the different layers. I did not have a ‘basket’ in my collection. With that I chose a galvanized bucket and a wagon. Which we chose together in my live. Yes, you can go back and check out the video for some fun ideas. Including a new use of the Metallic Effects. WoooHOOO!!
