1/19 Coffee and Cards, Stamp ink and paper.
1/19 Coffee and Cards
Oh we had fun on 1/19 Coffee and Cards. This Stamp, Ink and Paper card just turned out soooo pretty!! Very Vanilla was the 3 3/4 x 5 layer I started the card. Here is where you need to look into your ink stock. I looked for a light and a slightly darker color ink that would look good at leaves and flowers. Soft Sea Foam paired well with Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride with Rococo Rose. The fifth ink was Soft Suede for the sentiments.

We did find out that you COULD stamp twice the same color and get a similar look. Like the extra Very Vanilla cardstock piece to the left of this photo. Using just Soft Sea Foam for both of the stamped images. I think I forgot to mention that the A Touch of Ink is all Two Step Stamping. It also includes a beautiful Hummingbird and smaller single leaf. The sentiments are all that same mixed script like this Thank You.
One of the things that I like about the Two Step Stamping technique is that it does NOT need to be exact. See how the outline image looks great even if slightly off. Secondly, is how the Butterfly image was even better with the Wink of Stella.
OHHH, you bet we did!!
However, we did kind go back and forth about the Linen Thread. Some said no and others, ME, wanted to add for sure. Yes, in Coffee and Cards it is a democracy. I do not have the final say. On occasion, though I do make executive decisions. haha. Looking for a way to help and learn?? Join in my next live on Saturday at 10:30 central.

Oh Jen, so so pretty!
Two step stamping can be a little scary at times. You always make it seem easy.
Thanks for sharing with us.
